Softmod question before i buy my wii

I am picking up a used wii on friday morning. I plan on doing a softmod for my wii. Ive done this for the 360 and have used plenty of chips in the past with other systems,and also have rooted and unlocked phones. So i really have no worries about what im doing as ive seen already there are plenty of instructions and walkthroughs all over the web that seem pretty easy to follow. A question i have that i can not seem to find the answer for anywhere is if i softmod my wii is there anyway to restore it back to the defaults later on if i decide to. thats my only concern if i do a softmod instead of a hard mod.

The keywords are "virgin wii". Search and you will find info on returning the Wii to its original state.
