hi this is to all the people out there havin a problem with there kryptview remote control i got an email for the company i bought the box off of today with a bin file that you download onto the box and my remote is workin grand now not great but alot better so if any ad addict can take the file of me and put in with the rest of the software if its any good :):):):):):)

yes it all offical i have it in my box since yesterday and workin away grand..... it was the owner him self mail me about it and it worked now in sayin that the remote is not super fast but it is faster than wen i first got it :):):):):):)

Does anyone know if this bin file will be posted in Eamo's library. I hope so. These remotes are wrecking my head. Family members tagged onto my order of a few boxes and they think that it's my fault that the remotes don't work. That's the worst thing about being slightly technical, everyone thinks you can fix everything. Sorry, that's my rant over !

Just bought a KV Evolution A750. Box is great but remote control is unusable. Has this been fixed or has anyone got a suggestions ?

mickah im right in saying its not the remote its actually the box sensor!yeh or a factory fault, cos i have 2 boxes and both remotes are fine on 1 box but not the other

could be, I used a remote from the A700 and works perfect and the remote from the A750 works perfect on it, so could be some have a bad sensor

Any chance you can still up it, anyway? I mean, if it works, where's the problem? It'd be nice to have it ASAP as the remote on this thing is doing my head in, and at the same time ruling out (or not) the possibility of a dodgy IR sensor.

Although the remote's not great it works, but in fairness I wouldn't like to have a starview and sit there saying look how good the remote is while i'm watching this black screen for 3 moths pressing EPG and OK. At least KV worked.

ihave a box usb since x.mass and was about to send it over to uk to me inlaws had it all wraped up and then the update came out that wrapping came of so quick then, i had told me mother-in-law i already sent it, i think she is still looking out for the postman every morning,lol

I totally agree with you steo2k8. Anything is better then nothing. I can live with that. And the news this morning is that another box, Starview 4 USB, has been cracked so thats promising for all the other models, Eurovox, Dreambox etc. Fingers crossed that they'll all be back up in the coming months, or at least before the season starts. I hope no one threw there old boxes out !
Now all i need is someone to start broadcasting the US PGA golf since Setanta Golf went off the air.

Dreambox and SV4 have been working for a week or two now too
Also the Digivox XL USB and ITGate

It's all starting to look very promising. I've 3 Eurovox's gathering dust so hopefully those guys are feverishly working on a crack for Nagra too. Anyway, I'm getting away from the Kryptview remote thread. Great work everyone.

Yeah skelly, but how long was it down for , about 3 months. krypt was fixed in a couple of days.
I hope for the sv4 users that they a a bit faster to issue a fix the next time.
The Krypt remote is bad ,I wanted to hop it off the wall a few times, and I knew beforehand what it was like, but you get used to it. Not great but I'll take fast fixes over a slow remote any day.

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

I know the SV leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to support, but its remote does work pretty good which is what we're talking about here

Kryptview are great for fast fixes, thats it, worse remote in the world(its like using windows ME lol) menus slow and hard to navigate, epg isnt the best either, no digital audio out, lots of faulty boxes shipped without testing.
problems include: worse than usual remote responce(unusable), Dead/No power boxes, or power on for a short period(a day or 2) then die, DB9 connector(rs232) socket wired wrong, buzzing when volume turned up max on box but not on TV.
