So, for the second time I've tried to burn an ISO file and the xbox is saying its an unrecognizable disc. The file size is 7,572,881,408, is that the right size? Should it be the same for every ISO file, and if so, what's the magic number?

It will vary a little bit. Are you setting the layer break?

Is your 360 even modded? With what?
What brand of discs are you using?

Good way to check the ISO would be to use ABGX GUI, search on here for detail on how to set it up.
You may also be overlooking some other things,
Also what discs are you using? (Vertabims are best)
what game is it you are trying to burn?
What firmware do you have on your drive?

No, how do you set the layer break?
I'm using imgburn, Verbatim DVD R+DL discs
Yes it's modded. It plays several other games that came with it from the guy I got it from.
I updated the firmware for the drive.
Not sure what it's modded with.
I copied the ISO to the DVD becuase that's all the file had. I was told that if it has a ISO and a DVD file to click the DVD file. What if it just has an ISO file?

If you burning the ISO directly then that is your problem. Create the .dvd file using note pad and then right click on it and select burn with IMGburn.
Create the .dvd file:
1. Open notepad
2. type the following info:
LayerBreak=1913760
[Type the name of the iso file here].iso (if iso reads swfu.iso then type exactly that)
3. save it as name of ISO file.dvd (swfu.dvd and put in the same folder as the iso file)
should look like this:
LayerBreak=1913760
swfu.iso
and save as swfu.dvd (right click on it and select burn with IMGburn)

If you run the ISO through ABGX like I said, you wont need to set the layer break as ABGX does it for you.
Have you played back up games on your xbox before to confirm it's modded?
BTW, the reason I ask which firmware you are using is because some new games wont play on old firmware.

That's great to know I didn't know that! I have been re-setting it all this time apparently.

First of all ImgBurn is an updated DVD Decrypter. Second of all YouTube is full of morons who do not know what they are doing so it's not advisable to use a tutorial from there unless it is from an experienced member.
If ImgBurn does not work then try CloneCD.
