after you have your benq plugged in right click on computer then click properties, hardware tab and go to device manager. click your pc and go to action > scan for hardware changes and open jf to see if it shows up.

You need to list a bit more information before you can be helped.
Do you have:
PortIO installed?
.Net framework 2.0 or higher?
32bit operating system?
What type of SATA chipset are you using?

Remove the VIA RAID driver.
1. Disable VIA card in Device Manager.
2. Go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers and remove "viamraid.sys" or "vsmraid.sys".
3. Re-enable VIA card in Device Manager.
4. Re-Boot PC.

If you still can't read the drive, try booting DosFlash. I have a tutorial in my signature on how to make a bootable USB drive and how to read a BenQ with DosFlash.

i have an idea, read the freaking tutorial that comes with the program. or read the troubleshooting section at the end of the tutorial. either way, read the tutorial.

wow, you must have a completely different tutorial than the one i read a long while back when it told me exactly how to flash my benq drive. i mean, it even said what to install, how to uninstall the via drives, and what to do if it didnt read/see the drive.
ps. nice way on spelling my name wrong. you would have thought you could at least get that right.
