THANKS ALL IN ADVANCE!

Here is the background if you care to read it, it might help diagnose my problem. If you dont want to read, just skip down to the pic.

Ok here's the story. I have flashed drives before. This is my 4th. I originally had an Hitachi 79 but it got bricked because my computer froze when I was upgrading to iXtreme 1.51 . So I bought a Benq off of ebay. When I got it, I hooked it up through my xbox to the computer and flashed it with 1.6 and spoofed the key from my Hitachi. The drive worked for about an hour then I got the E65 error. So I hooked it back up to my computer to re-flash it with 1.6, this time I hooked it up with a Maximus 360 Xtractor because I figured it would be easier. I pressed the power button on the Xtractor to power the drive but it didnt make the startup sound like before. I then try to eject the drive and it wont even eject. I hook it back up to my xbox and it still wont eject. I can flash it but the drive wont ever power on.

So my question to you gentlemen is - Does this looked fried? I really don't know what to look for.

I'm sorry but that looks fried. That brown on the controller chip doesn't look good. Did it let out smoke or an awkward smell?

Not that I remember. But I'm not really sure. I didn't open it, until about 2 hours after it started to not eject.

If it isn't opening and closing anymore, I'd said it is done for.

Ok thanks. Damn, thought Benq's were invincible. What do you think killed it?

When you went to re-flash could you have plugged the power cable in upside down?

It's not looking good for the home team but I would manually eject the drive using a straighten paper clip (directions can be found no the net) and push the drive half way in, connect pc and try to reflash with DosFlash32. If this does not work then I would say your screwed.

I don't think so. I checked that and it's noticeably harder to get it in upside down. I don't force it. Maybe I did without realizing it...

Ordered a new Benq on ebay today for $25 shipped. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time.
