guyz need some help..
I am planning to buy xbox360 pro from ebay since it's cheap compared to India.The xbox 360 is ntsc and will be shipped from states.
The issues are weather it it advisable to buy from there and will it work here in India since i have read something related to NTSC AND PAL issues and the games having ntsc and pal version.
you can usually find around 100-150 PAL units on the US ebay site all the time, so that might work out better for you. also, they are almost always cheaper than a normal NTSC unit since no-one in the states wants a PAL unit.

well the offer that i am gettin is cheap which turns to 310$ with shipment.anyways..so is there a thing that ntsc can play pal game or vice versa? since i doubt the xbox360 is modded.That's another thing and pardon me if it's not allowed to discuss it,is it allowed to dicuss it or not .I have no clue as to which works down here in India as well as Saudi Arabia since i will take it there after a couple of day.s
currently there isnt anything that will change a games region from NTSC to PAL or PAL to NTSC. there also isnt anything that you can do to the console to make it read games that are locked into other regions.
when you get the console, you will have to either play NTSC games, or region free games. so you ought to make sure you have a good place to obtain NTSC games from, whether its buying them or downloading them.

hmm it's so darm confusing all this.would have been easy if there was nothing like this .anyways which is more common in bth types.i have read some forum saying once the xbox has been modded it heats up etc.is it true.are there any consequences as such
once its modded it wont run any hotter than it normally did. flashing doesnt change the way the console runs other than the fact that it makes it read burnt games. so the posts about it running hotter is just BS.
the only consequence of flashing the console is the chance of getting banned from live.

umm, make sure to try to get a jasper unit console, this will make sure it runs cooler, if you want attempt to get a console with HDMI. other than that you should be good to go.
