hi there for some reason in the last few days on all the sky sports channels and sky movies premiere i get no signal any ideas on how to fix thanks in advance im in telewest london

Maybe try a factory reset and rescan all the channels.

Did you try reflash the box?? Dont know to much about the starview3 but is there a new firmware out for it?

still got no signal dont think its a software prob it been fine for the last six monthes

It could be to do with cable going into box. Did you try plug it into normal tv to see if the signal comes through. Or is the emu defo on? Try it on a different tv?

I'd check your cable is plugged into the one marked 'cable input' 1st then if still no signal check plugging it into the TV as the poster said above.
I havent heard much of faulty tuners in SV3's
SV2's had some serious issues alright

Strange try doing a factory reset turn off for 5 mins, then the usual scanning
How To Scan Box (Use This If You Have Lost Your Channels ECT)

Menu > Factory Setting
PIN 0000
OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for 5 minutes and turn back on
English > Installation
Choose Provider etc
Automatic Scan
Press OK
Channels found
Exit

Press Menu then 1570
Turn EMU key ON

Exit , exit , exit

This could be casuse by the N*L change the frequency of the channels
