I flashed my hitachi 79fl to 1.41 some time ago and due to my lack of experience I did not back up anything. I tried to update to 1.51, needless to say I bricked it. Drive now will not eject, but detected by bios. After doing some research I have found it is possible to recover the key by desoldering the TSOP chip. My question is, does anyone offer this service? I found a guy at Swaytech.org or something, but that is overseas. I rather not ship so far away if I can find someone in the States. Let me know if anyone can help. And please any advise or suggestions is appreciated.
I got a hitachi with a bad flash i did get the key when it dumped and i saved it i just need to know if anyone will sell me another drive that is flashed ill provide the key :)

bhetrick. it looks like i have two xbox 360's that are bricked, would you be able to fix these? They are both hitachi drives? you can pm me and let me know what the cost would be. thanks
