Was wondering does the new wii's have the 4.0 update ? I want to softmod it and also what SD cards can be used , can any SD card be used to softmod ? Thanks
The 4.0 system menu is 0% of your worries. I would say that they are coming with 4.0 already on them since it has been out for a while, but I'm not 100% sure. Your worries should be getting a LU64 or LU65 console, which you probably will since you just ordered it. Follow the guide on http://www.softmii.org and it tells you how to install HomeBrew with a LU64/65 console. Although you can install HomeBrew on them, I still think it is still a little rough around the edges. When the official SoftMii 3.0 packages gets released they should be working like any other console.
No, that's actually a good thing. LU65/65 just have newer security that hasn't been 100% figured out yet. Just follow the guide for FW4.0 and you will be fine.
