Im kind of new to the XBOX. Im trying to convince my dad to buy one.
I had a wii and i was deccepointed by how difficult was to run new games in a modded wii.
I will probably be getting a modded XBOX.
So I would like to know if its hard to run backup games on a modded xbox (in wii it was a hell to run Mario Galaxy). Are there cool games that dont work (like halo 3)???
Also what are the possible bricks outside the live ban and the power brick that a modded xbox can have???
Well I know this for sure, it is 20 times easier to mod a wii than a 360. I could mod a wii with my eyes closed, standing on one leg, both arms tied behind my back, and duct tape over my mouth.
Oh and it's EXTREMELY easy to get mario galaxy to play, you just burn it to a dual layer disc. That's the only thing special about it.
Your best bet would be to have someone do it for you

Er you don't have to use a DL disc for Super Mario Galaxy...you just need to either update your mod chip or use the latest version of Gecko OS Loader with the 002 fix. Or you can always use the USB Loader.
Anyways this is the 360 forum. It's easy to mod the 360. Just read up on guides (Google, use the search button, look at the stickies). There are no problem games yet since the latest iXtreme (1.6) can play all games now. Take region locking into consideration though.

That's what I used and it worked just fine. I suppose me updating my ninja might have done the trick as well..
