can someone tell me why the stb editor is saying downloading not requested when i put bin file into the loader have saved bin file and loader to my desktop as requested. thanks

Have you followed the guide and connected with the right cables etc?
Have you switched off the box and then turned it back on after clicking start ?
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

follow the video, and turn off the box at the back first, press download on the loader, then switch the box back on.

i have 1 cable going from pc to box but does not seem to be picking up the box pc is a bit old but has null modem to null modem

its not meant to pick up the box you need to get the loader and load the file to your box. look at the video and you will see.

If you follow the video you will have no problem, all you have to do is watch it, then turn the box off at the back, press download on the loader, then turn the switch on the back straight back on and it will work.

auto scan ntl on top touch nothing else then press green button only next screen choose legacy channels then press ok thats it let the box do the rest simple

What error are you getting exactly?
What operating system are you using?
Have you checked your using the correct com port(in device manager)?

i am useing xp and the usb nullmodem cabel i got with a750 all ports are correct i downloaded the drivers and loder amd bin file and stored it to desk top press start as i switched on kript and still got no where thanks

yes the error you are getting is because, you have to press download first, then turn on the switch, try that not at the same time, and it has to be the switch on the back of the box.

it has to be a comport issue so, check what comport you cable is on in the device manager,and make sure it the same one on the loader.

Auto Scan?. and at network [ok] put your provider in leave the channel search type alone set at network.
Press the green start search button? if you are on Virgin select N** or what ever provider you are using after that is should bring up a list
If you are on NTL Dublin select legacy top item on the list
You just need to be patient then and wait till the scan has completed then press the exit button and that it job done
