Hi i've been trying to get this game to work on my softmii'd wii.Every other gc game has worked flawlessly (even through disc channel loading because of cioscorp) EXCEPT this one. I've read that having a modchip like the wiikey fixes the error message on the startup screen, but I find that hard to believe because i picked up the original today from Gamestop and it shuts off my wii completely when loading. This was one of the best games for gc and it doesn't work. I even tried fstfix with audio fix on and no such luck and even updated my mios and nothing either.

Has anyone got this working honestly?

basically cause i read some dude had a problem getting it to boot and i myself love the game...but didnt bother to play it much? But i think i was able to get farther than you? I will try to post a vid of me playing it but actually booting was no problem....it is an iso backup btw i am using off a dvd-r in the vid...

Yea, i picked up gamecube backup launcher 0.2 and got it working. There's still some audio glitches, as in the opening narrative doesn't work, neither does the music in the opening gameplay scene. I can easily see past that stuff though.

I can't believe the original doesn't work though. Nintendo should of perfected they're backward compatibility.
