1. Once I used ABGX360 to check the game, it's "relatively" save to play online right?

2. I read in the sticky that if you play a backup game, you'll get "flagged" but not banned immediately, and with enough "flags" you'll get banned.

However, will you still get flagged if you play backups while being unplugged from the internet?

Thanks!

This is an on going debate. Some people say the 360 logs info and as soon as you connect to XBOX Live, it will send that info to Microsoft. That has yet to be proven or disproven. Microsoft does ban waves so you won't be instantly banned if you are playing a bad back-up. Microsoft does check the SS, DMI, PFI, etc so if you are playing a bad backup, Microsoft probably knows it and that is where the term flagged comes from.

is there any danger to installing backed-up games onto the 360 hard drive?

There have been no reports, one way or the other, that installing to the hard drive is bad. Many would assume that if you're using a backup that's bad enough. Installing it or not installing it makes no difference at that point.

This may have changed since the last time I read about it, though.

I'd probably use the original to install to hard drive and then just play with the backup in the console.
