Hi im in Dublin and carrired out the update on the box,thanks to all the hard workers.It works fine but dont have the bbc1,bb2,or channel 4.I read the topic on this in the forum but still no joy.factory reset,scan,keycode etc a few times.Anyone any ideas ?

I'm the same mondeo888. I upgraded not long after the update came out and got almost all of my channels back (except BBC World News and some music channels). Now however, I'm missing a lot of the main channels too just like yourself. They had been working after the update but they subsequently disappeared. I'm also in Dublin.

Make sure you've got the latest firmware released on 23.06.09, you're probably running on the previous fix dated early June

Ahh, thanks Skelly. That's sorted it out. I had no idea there was another update out already. Am I blind or is there no sticky for it?
OT - What does "TheBoxSuperUSB_BG_LOGO_080904_.bin" do? Is it just a different logo for the loading screen? What does it look like?

No problem Nagsta, I didn't go near that file so I'm not quite sure what it does...i suppose if it's not broken don't try to fix it

its the logo file for the USB which you had to load when the boxs first came out, all firmware have the logo now as part of the firmware, so you just flash with the latest file, even on a new box

yes its the cyderdyane systems 101 model, its a learning compter, its CPU has a life span of 150 years on back up battery
