Hey, i havent tried burnin any isos for few months.

just downloaded ufc and godfather.

burned them with CloneCd as i always have with no problem. with the .dvd file.

ok burn completes successfully. i put it in the 360 and it gooes to a white screen with Xbox360 the dvd player.


i dont know whats going on? ive wasted 2 blanks and i dont wana waste anymore im using Verbatims the best.

last time i burned some games was bout 4months ago they worked fine,

is it anything to do with teh firmware? im not sure what it is but its a new xbox or do i have to update it everytime a new one comes out?

What version of ixtreme are you using. Update to ixtreme 1.6 (1.51 if you have a hitachi). It's probably just because you have old firmware. Only 1.51+ will read wave 3 games.

When did you buy the console? Contact the seller and ask what ixtreme firmware he installed.

Flashing 360 is different for each drive. To find out which drive your 360 has, remove the face plate, next to the dvd dezel there is a hole:
White wire = Benq
Yellow Wire = Lite-on
Black plastic = Hitachi
Red wire/circuit board = Samsung

and im sure its a lite-on version.

i bought it late last year it was the falcon version

Yeah, 1.41 won't work with wave 3 games.

You can use this tut to upgrade (tutorial is made by leerage)

or you could get somebody to flash it for you. Depending on where you are you should be able to get it upgraded for about $40.

Wave 3 games contain the NXE, all new games are wave 3.

i havent burned any games in a while so yeh.....is it worth keeping the ones ive already burned? or are they dead?

If you burnt them right then keep them, all 360 games will work if you have ixtreme 1.6. There's a few members on afterdawn that flash xbox 360's for a good price.

It is going to be a BenQ if it has 1.41 firmware on it.
