Playing burned/backup Xbox 360 games without any modifications?

Hi everyone. I've been interested in playing burned/backup games for my Xbox 360, but have read everywhere that a modification is required. I saw an application out there called "Easy Backup Wizard," but have not seen any verification as to whether it works or is legit. Therefore, is it even possible to play backups of Xbox 360 games without a modification to the Xbox 360 itself? If so, can you explain to me how this can be accomplished? Thanks for all your help.

This question has been asked over 9000 times, because people refuse to use common sense. Would Microsoft release a console that could play backup games right out of the box? The Security is put on the original disc for a reason, so it can be read by the 360 as a 360 game and verify that it is an original. The tutorial you saw was just a way to backup original games, not play them. And before you ask...

Yes, you have to take the console apart to mod it.
Yes, you can get banned for playing backup games, even if you are offline.
Yes, if you don't take careful steps it will void your warranty.

And please, use the search tab or Google. They are there for a reason.

ON a side note, it is really easy to mod your xbox to play backups. Take a good few hours and read through this site, all the information is here.

I think it also reverts back to the old dreamcast hacking cause all you had to do was burn the disks the right way then turn on the unmodded console, stick in the burned disk and bam you were playing
