WD Passport 320GB wbfs partition question

I've got a 320gb western digital passport external hard drive.

I want to partition the drive so that around 60 / 80 gb will be used for backups on the wii with the rest of the space being kept as FAT32.

Can anyone tell me the steps I need to follow to sort this? I looked to start doing this on xp but it wants me to format the drive to NTFS.

Any help much appreciated, thanks.

i got windows vista, but i used a xp before, so some options will mention might not be exactly the same.

So..what you want to do is go right click my computer and select manage. Under Storage, Select Disk Drives. Look for your 320 GB. Format the whole thing to FAT/FAT32 or w/e. After that, right click it and select to shrink the volume. Then input the amount of space you want to create your 2nd Partition. After thats done. Right click the partition you just made and delete the volume. After that, right click and select create a new volume, and choose not to format it. Then have WBFS format that unformatted partition.

If windows ask you to format the letter drive that your WBFS Manager reads, dont do it. Ignore it. And the NTFS partition should be read. Just go to my computer and look for the partition that is NTFS or whatever you formatted to first.
