Is there Irish fix for The Box & The Box Super

hi. people in Dublin are asking me to fix "The Box" and "The Box Super".
Is it possible? Is there a fix?
What's the story with these boxes? Are they manufacturer dependant and therefor defunct and not supported?

There is no fix for these boxes in ireland. Starview are only supporting there latest box SV4 USB

there is a fix out there for Ireland, there are guy's going around charging people for it.
So we should be able to get them very soon ...????

have you seen it done or did ou see anybodys box that has been fixed
cos there are also guys putting rumors out about guys fixing boxes!!!

I'm pretty sure a guy I work with got his box dun last night. some guy come to his house with a laptop and did it there and then for him.
he said it's working fine got all his channels back.
So there is a fix he has the Box, or Starview 2 what ever you want to call it and it?s back working

If this is true someone has to upload it somewhere very soon otherwise no one will believe it.

In my book steo, if some one has created a fix themselves (which I havent seen since sunrise retired)I would like to see screenshots of the box working and which platform its working on, I would like to see a pic of a channel on the box working and it showing the provider, a while back someone done the same thing here and it turned out their box was on chorus and not nthell as they claimed,
if the people dont want to share the file, thats their perogitive, but the info in this thread is sketchy at present and for me, its no different to other rumours we have seen before and that died off.

Chorus still works so that could be it, he said Ireland but not nthell.

yip, thats why we need to see some proof, either via a pic of the box working, but showing which platform its working on, then we will know if this is the same thing as last time or someone indeed has pulled something out of the hat,

Tbh, I wouldn't mind paying for a fix if it was from a reliable source like sunrise, I don't think we'll be seeing that proof either or hearing anything else about it. I'd love to see it working again though.

ya see, if some has done a fix, which I would like to see myself, surely it would have hit the net by now as some one would have uploaded it to somewhere or some site by now. But as I said unless I see some proof other than the actual file, I aint getting my hopes up until then

I see what you mean no sign of it, it must be awkward to code for these if only 1 person could do it.

have heard about this before some bloke calling himself mr beamo or something like that sends you a link to fix your box ive been hearing about it the last week in ireland ive yet to see a working box though

I've been hearing stuff like this for a while too but the same again no working boxes on nthell.

like i said, some1 said it to somebody that there is a fix out now for the box or super.aint that how rumors start?,
when somebody says they have a fix thats different and if they dont show its there perogitive as mickah said, or else they are lying.
