if you have subbed boxs in the house, then you are on digital, you can split the cable and use anyboxs you want.

thats only if you have 1 box and you have your splitters coming out of that box to each room,
MICKAH is right once you have cable/splitter in your room put your box in it and watch what you want.

so basically you have one cable port on the wall in your house a you put your own splitter to do 2 rooms!!yeh, well thats basically what n*l done for me except they have the splitters outside and ran the cable around the outside of house, drilled in each bedroom and put a port in each room,no diff than what you have done and i have 2 boxes, 1 in sitting room and swop other box between bed rooms for kids. im in a digital area but dont get digital of them still use analogue like yourself, unless you need 2 boxes just move it from room to room.

Have you got or had any digibox of any sort running in your house before?
Are NTL putting in MMDS for you?
Where are you located?

I'd suggest borrowing a box from your neighbours and plugging it in and testing, but your line should work 100% with a digibox.
Unless NTL are giving you MMDS you can still use all your standard TV points, If you are getting digital from them all they are giving you is a digibox

well then you have a digital feed coming in if you are using a SV box already, just split the pipe from the source to any room ya want and use what box you want,

if you have a SV box running or was running before, you have a digital feed coming in already, every house has it in Dub, its just your not paying for a digitalpack from your supplier, each house has analogue and digital coming in, in the dub or greater area on true cable.
the older SV boxs are now redundant and wont work. you cant change analogue into digital with a box, your confusing the two.
You need a kryptview, SV4, ITGATE, DREAM or DBOX if you can get one.

FTA Free To Air channels that you don't have to pay for like RTE etc.
without the software (firmware) containing an emulator you can't unscramble digital.
You can't watch all analogue channels you have because the box uses digital not analogue and if digital isn't being unscrambled you can't view it.
