dbox 500c not working properly

Hi I recently bought a second dbox, first one works fine. But new one only gets freeview channels even though loads of channels have scanned in. I tried to change the codes on the new box but when I go from var to keys there is no keylist text or anything so I cannot enter anything. Anyone know wot to do?

You need to give some more info, i.e. where you are? Sounds like you are UK based? If so transfer the working image and emu/Roms from your working box.

If you are in Ireland look at the main 500c thread.

All you need is to transfer the working Cam/Roms onto your box from your working box. Or you can take a look from here onwards for a complete image http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/70/647188#4398960 as I have to leave sorry ;)

Can you tell me step by step how to transfer ther cad/roms from one set to another please?

Easiest way is to back up working image using dreamup and null modem cable, then flash to other box selecting 'No' to flash erase!
