I recently got my 360 flashed but it is not working as it should. Basically it will not play a backup game when you select it from the Play game menu. It tries to load but it says that the disk is unreadable. But if I press eject and then close the tray with the same game in inside, it works fine. Also the name of the game never comes up on the play game menu and there the backup up game doesn't come up when I go into the menu to install it to the Hard Drive.
Has anyone seen this problem before and do you have a solution? I am using Verbatim DVD DL's. Thanks.
A flash will either work, or it won't work. There is no intermittent issues with a flash. You have other problems. Possible laser failing, bad backup, or crappy media. If you are using good media, then I would suggest checking/cleaning the laser. Next would be a POT calibration.

While I would totally agree with this since it makes technical sense and common sense, I've actually seen one myself that worked (technically) but would have problems. The game would just eject on it's own sometimes, sometimes it would play. I even broke down the xbox again 3 or 4 times and it still did it. I reflashed and it worked a charm since.
