I did everything the guide said then when i try to install the RVL-mios-v8.wad (from a download since i don't have wifi) to play GC games, my wii got bricked after it restarts.

Whenever i try to get on to the main menu i get a black screen with the message in broken letters "your wii system is corrupted please refer to your instructional menu" or something like that. I can however press the reset button during startup to access the preloader (thank god) so who can i do to virginize my wii so i can start over or fix this problem w/o virginizing.

That seems a little strange to me. The MIOS made it so that your system files are corrupted?

I would first try to do the process again. Use the cMIOS_rev3 installer to try to install RVL-mios-v8.wad

If that doesn't work then I would try installing a clean RVL-mios-v8.wad

AnyRegionChanger would be your more drastic fix http://wiibrew.org/wiki/AnyRegion_Changer

cMIOS should not corrupt the system menu.

Did you install IOS60 Patch before or after installing Preloader?

If you installed IOS60Patch after you installed Preloader then reinstall Preloader again.

Just boot Preloader then select Homebrew Channel then go to the Preloader.29 installer and run it again.
