Best SATA DVD burner for 360 games

I apologize if this is in the wrong forum

I am wanting to replace my Lite-On IDE DVD DL burner with a Sata model.

Anyone have any advice on which ones work well?

Any new brand name burner will work. Pioneer, BenQ, Samsung, Sony are good choices.

Not really, Pioneer and Samsung are all very reliable and these days their prices are low.

Could you recommend a Blu-Ray drive with DVD DL?

Or should I just stick with the DVD DL?

Sorry for double post, but wanted to clarify:

I guess I just haven't heard if Blu-Ray drives with DVD DL writing capability work just as well as drives without Blu-Ray

I have a Samsung SH-S223Q (SB-03 firmware) and it is a champ. I've never had a coaster or dirty disc error.

As long as you go with a name brand burner, I think you will be allright. As for Blu-Ray, I have yet to purchase a Blu-Ray burner so I can't comment on one.

This goes for sata and ide? Cuz i remember when the ide phillips burner was hailed as king for a while.

My NEC works like a charm, to add to the list, even though i think sony is in collaboration with nec. Mind me.
