If you have definitely checked all your connections ie from your downconverter down to your power supply and from your power supply to your box then either your downconverter is faulty or your power supply, most likely it is your power supply.

I think I read on here about some areas changing from DVB-t to DVB-c in the last month or two, the changes were done really fast and subscribers were given a new box there and then, may be your problem
PLEASE DONT PM ME FOR KEYS!

Think they changed to DVB C modulation a short while ago out there. Thats why your DVB T box is not working, try a working DVB C box at your location.
EDIT: They did indeed Cathal.

It does with NT* MMDS a Kryptview needs manual frequency input. Others don't. I suggest you get a lone of a working box to try it in your area first.

if you have changed over to the dub line then yes the eurovox ex1000sl will work
just to be sure you should now have basic cable coming in your house and you have to pay for a basic connection before you can connect your box.
also im not sure about this some1 correct me if im wrong i think you can still put an aerial up and get your ex1000sl to work

I thought if signal was changed from CHORUS-T to NTL MMDS you would have
to change downconverter IF 214--400 MHz to IF 222--408 MHz.
I may be wrong but would be very interested to know
