as far as i know we can't get hd channels on our boxes in ireland at the moment
re:your last post, now that they have changed over and you can use your ex1000 now
does it still work of your aerial or do you have cable now?

Getting signal of 86% with Eurovox Max on mmds freq 282 symbol rate 6887 modulator QAM64 when i scan some channels appear on menu but i get no picture

Go to MENU--OK--1968--enable emulator--red to save.
Try a POWER-SCAN 240MHz to 400MHz sym rate 6887.
If U*C are using N*L mmds in your area you will get picture on about
10 chls.,whitch are FTA or NAGRA 1.All other chls. are nagra 2.
The newer boxes with N2 fix should work perfectly.
Let us know your area, & if you were on CHO*US area previously.

I,m in Dunshaughlin Meath area i did what you said got 12 channels but no piture or sound any suggestions

Maybe someone in the area could advise you.
Check syst.info. to see have you latest software (nov/dec 2008)
If not you'll have to flash box or put in codes(18/12/2008)manually
To enter codes; MENU--OK--1968--1968 or MENU--yellow
You should be getting more than 12 chls.when you scan.
If you have time try deep scan 6887
If you want a long shot try a scan using sym.rate 6875
Make sure emulator is turned on

Hi vin1974 as far as im aware there is no fix out yet for eurovox max,however there is a fix out for the ex 1000 sl eurovox which is wat im using meath area

All chls. are running on N3 & N2 except FTA, & some chls. are still
running on N1.
If firmware is OK or latest codes are added & EMU is enabled you should
be able to view FTA & N1 chls. on MAX-V. Make sure cable is in RF in.
Come back with a few details;
How many chls. scanned using 6887 sym rate
Did any chls. scan using 6875 sym rate
What firmware is on box & are codes up to date
Are you using an aeriel & is your power supply plugged in

loaded nag2 fix july 09 did a scan still getting nothing i,m lost and pulling my hair out at this stage

What box did you load the fix onto??The fix will not work on the Eurovox max!!

i put it on Eurovox EX1000SL just to be sure you know i,m on chorus mmds Dunshaughlin they changed over a few weeks ago eurovox tx no good here anymore

make sure you change symbol rate to 6887 before you do scan because you are now on the dublin line

in the middle of a scan now freq coming up are 250/266/282/378/ this is after i loaded UFL feb 09 firmware nothing was coming up with july 09

They are right freq. for N*L mmds, I don't know why did not scan with
N2 fix. You should get over 90 chls. Make sure emulator is enabled.
If you can't view most of chlls. you'll have to re-flash N2 fix jul/2009
Before you reflash save chls. on your desktop.
To save chl data--Hit UPLOAD on lower left of EUROVOX loader
You will be prompted to name file, call it CHLS.1000sl & HIT SAVE
When CH data upload box appears HIT start
The N2 fix will delete all chls.on eurovox, just hit browse on eurovox
loader. Select CHLS.1000sl file HIT save. Hit lower DOWNLOAD on eurovox loader, & you should be home & dry

got it sorted got up on the roof took down aerial and cleaned it. working perfect.
