I have been installing wad's for along time now and then one day out of the blue I get this error. I would load wad manager 1.4 and select (ios249) then i would proceed to install a wiiware wad file. It starts off fine but the during "Installing content #X..." procedure the screen would either freeze(lock up) or show the Exception (DSI) occured! dump screen. I have tried everything all day long to fix this, from downgrading my wii from 4.0u to 3.2, formatting the wii system memory, installing the latest ios's from waninkoko. And after hours and hours I have succsessfully got a major headache and no results on fixing this problem. Can anyone out there help me with this one?

Some wad's seem to work when they want too but most of the time i get the error.

Hey Felix

Im not trying to start anything but alot of ppl come here to figure out the same problem. So could you try to solve the problems here instead of having everyone email you. Then if someone searched this problem they would see the cure.

What type of wads are installing with no problem?

All the wad's are either ntsc or RF which i have an ntsc wii. It's pretty much happening with very wii.. Example (dr mario, which ive had for a long time has never given me problems in the past until about a week ago along with all the other wads.).I have just learned that if I persist on trying to install the wad file after powering down the wii and re loading wad manager it occasionally installs the wad file. So like it wants to work whenever it feels like installing. If it doesn't want to install i get the error dsi occurred crap.

I used to have homebrew installed via twilight hack (i own an older model wii). Recently ive formatted and upgraded via nintendo update then installed homebrew using bannerbomb.. but i mean that should have nothing to do with it.. im pretty sure i was getting these errors before all that was done anyways.
