I installed it properly, i think.

Here is my problem. I have boom blox and ice age 3 on my usb
I can see them in the program, change settings and all of that but when I try to play them the screen goes black and freezes up.

I have the usbloader unlocked. I dont see what I am doing wrong.
Any help would be appreciated. thanks

what do you have set for video mode? I would set it to autopatch and try again

tried that still nothing, maybe it is the way my usb is set up. I dont know. Is there a good tutorial anywhere for setting up the usb for the loader. I used wbfs manager but I couldnt figure out how to partition the drive. Games loaded fine onto it so I thought that maybe when I formatted that it did all of that for me. Could that be my problem

i have tested a lot of games with the USB loader and not all of them play. Could just be a problem with the current version of the loader that will hopefully be corrected soon.

You could try and update your loader. When i installed the one linked to in the guide on this forum it was an older version and would not load up ALOT of games. Got really weird code displaying messages during the error. When I upgraded the loader using the settings within the loader (u need wifi on your wii for this)alot of the games that originally would not play now worked fine. There are still a few that wont load, but it is much less after I upgraded. I believe the litte wii icon with the arrow is what you click to auto update the USB Gecko loader.

My backup copies of Ghostbuster and Guitar Heroes Smash Hits work fine on disc but not off the USB drive via the gecko loader.

The best solution for this until someone creztes a miracle is to have multiple Loaders to use. I currently have access to 2 loaders if one doesnt work usually the other will. I had this problem with Animal Crossing City Folk.

If you had to unlock the loader then its a old version you dont have to unlock the new ones. Try downloading the newest one on there site HERE.
