Ok, so I'm new to the whole forum thing but I'm not exactly noob to PSP hacking.
This is probably somewhere else on the forums but I'm going to be more precise with the information I give and hopefully other people can read this if a proper solution is given. Anyways, to the problem at hand
Last night, my friend and I cut into his PSP Slim battery making our own jig kick battery. I had done this before the same way and it worked just fine. Anyways, we finally cut that little leg and made a magic memory stick, ran the program to install CFW 3.71 m33 and it finished. Then, when I tried to reboot the PSP, there was no XMB.
I've tried multiple things...I tried just using the AC adapter, no battery or memory stick, and I still get no XMB. I've put my own memory stick in and I still get no XMB. I've re-run the CFW downgrader multiple times, and still...no XMB. I've replaced the root files with brand new ones, to see if somehow those were corrupt, and still no XMB. I'm really at a loss here, and I dunno what to do...I've been googling and reading for the past few hours now, and still no XMB =(
Any help is appreciated...
Thanks
Alright! Triple post! Do I get extra noob points or something?
I figured it out...
I ran the recovery menu, you know the holding down the R thing...Then I went into the config I think, then I reformated flash 1 and it worked
