I have just bought a d162d with kreon v1.0, but have tried xbox back up creator and schtrom360 and nothing seem to work, I am a newbie so please be gentle and draw pictures but its close to hammer time lol. I have watched and read loads of info online but I think I have fried my brain! please please please someone either shoot me or show me the correct wat to get this thing going
Are you sure it already has Kreon on it? If not, go to http://nme2.com/nme_h2.html and download the kreon version you need. Then flash the drive with it. Even if you are sure, I'd suggest you try that.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive

Hey, i had the same problem.
Reflash your drive with kreon firmware.
For some reason i dont think it supports the 162D so I used the latest version of Xbox Backup Creator, You can select your drive from a drop down tab and that seems to work.
Just insert disc, select drive click drive tools then unlock drive and you are sweet to read. Hope this helps.
