ok so I broke my ribbon cable clamp

I am stupid, stupid, stupid. How can I get the ribbon cable to stay in place without the clamp? Can I use electrical tape and try to mount it where it goes?

How broken is the clamp? You can just pop it back in.

Electrical tape could work...but the connection may come close which then you would have to open up the Wii again and apply more pressure.

You can probably find a replacement clamp online like in Ebay.

it is still in a piece, I cant see how it fits back in though. Know of any good pictures of the clamp sitting in place

the "cable door" can easily be put back on if you really didn't break it. Try reattaching it, it should snap on on to the cable port quite easily. If you really did break the pins at the ends of the door then you could go to ebay and buy a new door or search around.
