New Kryptview Firmware 12-07-2009

just put the new firmware on there had to manually put in the freq (im on mmds) the remote control is better then it was still not 100% but then again im glad i put the update on it
@ binkie7 love the signature its like dont prees the red button!! soul is gone now :)

rob2000, can you post or PM me the freq's your using ? your on N*L mmds & using a KV correct ?

Rob I'm on MMDS Galway and it fixed the auto install. What area you in?

I tried the auto install just to see if they had fixed it.
Pressed the green button and it said adding new tp, then it took about 2 or 3 minutes. then i got a short list I selected First one , Galway legacy. Then it scanned perfect. All channels in correct order etc.

could someone please help..downloaded it to computer but when i open it and click on green download its not there.. is something wrong or its prob me?

it does not seem like an essential update. -n i read in a thread it takes away 'Total List' (press volume then epg) - is this true? cos all i'm really picking up is 'it makes my remote respond better.. sorta' .. my program information was non existent at times during the week but it seems alright now

when i got my box responce time on remote was good and my programme info is ok so i did not put the update on my box but my brother done the update and his remote responce got better and programme info is good now
but i have got the (total list) and he has lost it,
so it depends on your box, id say 50% need it and the other 50 does'nt.

got used to the remote issue anyhow. to the point of "is it really one" - not so used to havin no total list.. giving it a miss ;-

use the new firmware if your remote responce is crap or if you have a bad epg viewing of whats on tv or if you can not automatically install tp and channels.

use the new firmware regardless, if the remote is bad or not, as there is other changes in it as well, always best to use the latest firmware, as it was not released just to fix the remote problem.

Hi any suggestions, I am trying to download into the Kryptview and a window keeps popping up to say Downloading not Requested - any ideas, have already done a kryptview but not on this laptop it's doin my head in.
