Depends on what you are comfortable with. Jungle Flasher is GUI and iPrep is DOS based. A tutorial is included with Jungle Flasher for each step by step. iPrep you will need to follow on-screen instructions. Either way, you will get your drive flashed.

GUI = Graphic User Interface. Basically you will be modding your drive in Windows. In DOS, you have to boot to flash drive, and type in commands. I prefer Jungle Flasher because you can see what the program is doing and you can make multiple backups of your firmware once you dump it from the drive. It isn't hard to setup up Jungle Flasher. You need a 32bit OS. .Net framework 2.0 or higher and PortIO installed.
If you have the BenQ/Samsung/Hitachi drive, all you need is the VIA 6421 SATA card. Which is around 15$. Who knows, maybe your onboard SATA will work and you won't even need the card.
If you have a Lite-ON drive, you will need to get a probe with a connectivity kit. You can make a homemade probe, but the connectivity kit comes in handy. You can get all of it for under 90$.
