This is for all the people that can't find the right way to downgrade or update to m33, its so complicated if you have no idea what means kernel and all those words.
Its so simple just go to pandorasales.com and spend the best 30 dollars for yous psp stop trying because all the info and the instructions on the net are different from what i got in the magic memory stick. It only takes 3 minutes to have a 4.01 m33-6 (its for real guys)
when you finnish the installation just download the iso or cso files (game images) and place it on the iso folder NOT the game folder...
good luck (you can even see what type of motherboard you have)

good advice, although, homebrew games ,as the thread title says,do go into game folder or 150 folder. just so others learning don't place homebrew games in the iso folder. have fun with cfw!

you need cfw to play iso's and homebrew and really open up the possibilities of your psp. use pandora batt. and magic mem stick method or the chickHen method. google or search this forum for assistance. have fun and good luck!

Hey guys the homebrew games that you can use with the 4 or 5m33 firmware are only iso and cso image files (umd) but if you want to run another system emulators like sega or nintendo you need to install a compatible homebrew enabler for the 2.00 firmware and up (psp slim),but if you have a fat psp with 1 or 1.5 firmware you have a good homebrew emulator.
The kernel (firmware) is the central component of most computer operating systems, connects the application software to the hardware of a computer(communication between hardware and software components)
If you have a psp that can't read umds, the m33 update is all you need.
If you already have a memory card is great because games are 300 to 1500mb and if you have 2 psp just put the same game in each card so you can play wireless fighting games like unlimited codes....

I just found a good arcade emulator, look for cps (psp capcom play system torrent)and just put the files in game , and the roms inside the cps folder, do not unzip files, this gonna make you happy...
