my xbox got rrod help?

Okay, today my ck3 comes in with the probe i open up the xbox, fail to flash the drive, then i put it all back together and the xbox gives me RROD, wtf?

What rrod is it and is there an error code? Tell us exactly what you did to flash it.

there is no error code all it shows is 3 red lights

Did you put the metal case on carpet? I've heard that the metal case picks up static electricity when put on carpet.

Static electricity, I've heard it destroys the xbox 360, there was a post a few months back about it.

Also my AC in my house was broken and so it was like 95-100 degrees in my house, does that have to do anything with it?

Doubt it, I live in a tropical part of Australia that constantly reaches 35+ (celsius). The xbox 360 gets a lot hotter than 100 farranheit.

all i did was try to probe the drive but the 2 probe lights stayed green.
