Awhile back I did the twilight hack. I stayed at Version 3.1u cause back then I was told not to update. Played with it for a bit, but nothing good came out so it gathered dust. Now I wanna play some Punch Out. It won't load. From what I have read I need to update to 4.0.

Also this new thing called BannerBomb while i was away. Whats confusing me is should I install Bannerbomb on my Wii even thou I already have HBC? I have never understood the different wads.

What order do I need to do things since I already have hbc? Do I just update to 4.0 off punch out disk or will that make my hbc not work anymore?

Please help a guy thats been outta loop. Thanks

Do you have your system softmoded or does it have a Modchip?

If it is softmodded what cIOS is installed?

I have been using Backup Lancher 0.3 gamma, IOS249. Not sure if there is a new launcher I can install. Can I install multiple launchers? Its softmodded with twilight. I did see there is a 002 fix, but couldn't find file.

I am babysitting kids tomorrow and wanted to give them something new to play. But don't wanna mess it up. The oldest boy is obsessed with Mario Baseball would break his heart : ))

After reading more looks like I install 4.0 from system update. Then install Bannerbomb? or Vise-versa?

Or any other launchers you could recommend to fix my problem

Use this guide HERE.

Update to 4.0 firmware.

Download the SoftmodPack and place on your SD Card like the guide says.

Then the only sections you need to follow are...

cIOS38_rev13a:

IOS36, IOS60Patched and NeoGamma R6:

Game Cube Support: (ONLY IF YOU HAVE GAMECUBE BACKUPS TO PLAY).

IOS DOWNGRADER: (ONLY IF YOU HAVE BACKUPS THAT HAVE BEEN TRUCHA SIGNED).

You can stop using the Wiigator 0.3 gamma and start using the NeoGamma R6 to run backups.

No need to run Bannerbomb since you already have the HBC installed. No need to do Downgrade IOS35: section since your system has already been exploited with a cIOS.

Thanks for pointing me, following guide to T. So far updated to 4.0U, But now I am at loading the sd card. It comes up blank in Data Manger. I just formatted it to fat32 before loading files.

Also my card looked like your screenshot except it didn't have private folder. So i just made a empty folder private.

I renamed the installer.elf to boot.elf. This is the same card I did all my homebrew on so it should work. Any ideas?

Just follow the sections I told you to follow. There is no need to even go to data management because you already have the HBC installed.

ONLY DO THE SECTIONS I SAID TO DO IN MY ABOVE POST!
