Hi Guys,
I am living in Cork Ireland, and have been enjoying the Digivox-T for a few month now on C***US mmds. My father-inlaw asked me to get him a box so I ordered one last week, it arrived yesterday but it was a Starview 'The Box-T' box not a Digivox-T, I swapped out my Digivox -T and plugged The Box-T in but I cannot pickup any channels on The Box-T.
I have tried a number of things but still no good.
1) Changed codes to same codes as Digivox-T
2) Switched EMU on and did a factory reset
3) Auto scan and Manual scan, still pick up nothing.
I'm starting to think could it be the firmware is the issue.
The firmware currently on the box is as follows
API ver: 8.o4e_E
Boot Ver:7.0

When I switch back to my Digivox-T it works fine
Anyone got any ideas what the problem might be here with The Box-T.

id remove the codes mate the dont like ppl posting them its not allowed
did ya look around eamos library there might be something there for your box
can ya not run the box t the same way as ya work a digivox t flash it and then ya dont need to put codes into it

I am going to flash the box later this evening, I got firmware from Eamo's,
How do I remove the codes from my previous post ?

i dont no a guy did it yesterday in another thread maybe ask a moderator something they will probably do it when they spot it anyway

Hi Washley, I know your problem, when you enter nagravision and set the provider to Chyros, hit the ok button to save and exit, it defaults back to n*l. I have the same firmware and its doing exactly that. I have reset factory settings, re-flashed and still no joy. I am wondering if API ver 8.04e_E is the latest firmware. Like you I need some help on this.

No, tried a manual scan, problem with my box is that when I set provider to Chyros and hit store, it does not store it, just defaults back to n*l. Manual scan turns up nothing. Do you know if API ver 8.04e_E is latest firmware. Daxon

thats the latest for the box super have u got that or the box t and if your on chorus manual scan on symbol rate 6.875

Thanks tryabit, its the Box-T for mmds, dont think the super works with mmds. Seems like wrong firmware then. I will try and locate the correct firmware. Cheers - Daxon

The software above is ok.For some reason when you load the new version from 22/12/09 it comes up that version which is the same name as the box super.I think your box is a clone because the real manufacturers as far as I know have ceased making those boxes.

Thanks Cathaldub, that is the firmware I already have on Box-T. It defaults to n*l regardless of what provider I select and store. Will download again and re-flash and let you know. Daxon

You will never believe this one guys,
It turns out the diagram in the instruction manual is wrong, there are two connections for the antena, the manual says to put the aerial into the 'push antena connection' but the correct one to insert the aerial connection to is the screw type antena connection, right next to the SCART connections.
I did this and turned on the bx and did an automatic scan, this time it picked up the channels withut any problems
Try this daithi55 and let me know how you get on

Don't go into the nagravision menu, there is no need to ever.
Thats a bug in the firmware, just factory reset, scan, turn on key emu, press ok on set default key, and goto sky2 and wait for update :)

Guys , please help . Chorus replaced boxes in our area yesterday (kildare) Now The Box T and Digivox arent working , not even getting a signal on auto scan !!! Any help greatly appreciated

they moved/changed/added another aerial to point at the NTL mmds instead

Do you know if they actually moved or replaced the aerial?
If they are putting you on dvb-c then they are planning to shut down the dvb-t broadcast in your area.
you've two options.
1. Move aerial to point back where it did before, ask neighbours, friends, etc who they may not have visited yet.
2.buy a SV4, DigivoxUSB, KV, etc thats currently working(but for how long??)

Right Guys ,
Got a SV from dublin (not working there now) , did factory reset , scaned on Chorus and got 86 stations !!
However , no movies or Sky Sports 1 or Xtra , have 2 and 3 ok , any ideas ?????

Hi folks,
Want to pick your collective brains: I replaced cho*r*s box, which has the channels, with box-t which has the latest software on it, did factory reset, turned aeriel power on, did all the scans, auto and manual,but got nothing. Am I missing something, do I need another piece of equipment with this box - any ideas what I might try next, help appreciated

aerial - antenna in? also state what firmware is on box.
