Here's the story:
Last week I tried to play Wii sports after having my Wii packed away in a box for about a year. When I inserted the disc I could hear it spin up then stop. When I went to the disc channel I got an error message saying the disc could not be read. I then tried a gamecube disc which started loading before it locked up completely. I figured it was a faulty laser and promptly purchased a new one online. I installed the new laser and removed the two solder but I am still getting the same errors. Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be? I am tempted to just smash it with a hammer and call it a day but I figured that would be a little too much.

im not hearing that see you askin or you telling be that your gonna smash it cause nobody tells boxybrown lol but yeah id get an air gun thing and blow it in there leave in sitting for an half then go for it lol or toss it out the window it will be an epic fail
