hi all i am having problems with my xbox well a couple of problems really if any one could help or point me in the right direction !!!

i have 2 xboxs both modded these are my problems :

1. i have red ring on 1 xbox i have tried a few thing e.g the towel wrapped round thing it works for a bit then red ring again how can i fix it

2. my other xbox has been modded but not for wave 3 do i just need to " upgrade " or totaly re flash ?

sorry if the answers are all ready on another forum but looking is quiet hard at the moment as i have a broken collar bone !!!!

any help would be appreciated as bordom has set in

1. x-clamp fix,

2.yes upgrade to 1.6 ixtreme.

i have got xbins but i cant find a jungle flasher tutorial for 1.62 ??? i have got everything hooked up and it seems like i am ready to go just dont know what to do next ??? do i need to make a bootable usb still ?? even tho i am only " upgrading "

Modmyxbox is correct, please do not continue wrapping in towels. You will only damage the XBOX 360 more. If your warranty is valid, send it back to Microsoft. If not, will need to perform the X-Clamp replacement.

As for the MS-25, you can use this tutorial.

I doubt the x-clamp will work now because of the towel trick. Give it a go, but one of the chips is probably melted.
