Hi Guys,
Were trying to get online with the warhawk demo and the Moto Storm full vesion...

Were getting told either the connection gets lost or to check our internet connection?

We can download from the PS store and send meseges and as far as we see were online and the browser works..

Is there something we should do to play online?

Were using an ethernet cable to our router or we have tried wirless both result in the same mesages and we cant play online.

Any support woulod be appreciated.
Regards
L :-)

What type of Internet Service do you have? Hopefully not Satellite.

Hi were in the UK on an ADSL broadband connection, I think were at around 2mb

We have started to use the ethernet cable instead of the wirless and we seem to be getting into warhawk servers now but still do have some trouble connecting and have to try several times to get in....

I notice when doing the Connection test we get Upnp - Not Available and wondered if this was a problem? It is activated in our router.

Thanks again :)

Upnp has to be enabled on your Router as well.
Warhawk has always had a connection problem for me. I think that it is more of a problem that List of avaliable games are full are not taken off of the list.
You may be able to improve your connection stability by Port Forwarding your router. Your NAT Type needs to be 2. If you have a NAT Type 3, this could be causing a problem. If you need to correct this, here is a good walk through. You may not have a Lynksys but you will be able to use the info anyway.

I would suggest port forwarding or better still placing your PS3 into a DMZ.

Don't worry about Upnp or NAT as you have a wired connection and so should be getting NAT1 or NAT2 which is absolutely fine.

What router/modem do you use?

Hi Guys,
Well thanks for your comments,

I have an eTEC router

I just set up some port forwarding with the ports listed in the link and set the ps3 to have a static internal IP and forwarded all the ports to it...

So far since doing this we have managed to keep a connection most of the day in the full version of warhawk... once for a short spell we couldnt get connected but it came back again...

So im guessing the port forwarding has worked..

Thanks again :-)
