Hello

My Wii has been semi-bricked for a long time now, and I can't get it to un-brick. I have a Argon 2 chip in it. I've read guides, but none of them work (i.e http://hackmii.com/2008/05/semi-brick-fix-discs/ doesn't work, it just gives me a system error)

I've also read that if you just update your Wii firmware with a newer version of your region (I'm NTSC) then it should auto-unbrick itself.

The problem is, since I can't access my settings, I don't know what firmware I'm on. Is there any program out there that can tell me my wii settings? Or can someone tell me what game for NTSC has the latest firmware on it so I can update VIA that disc?

I don't have any homebrew channels if that matters.

Thanks

Since semi-bricked settings usually disable WiFi connection use the Offline Downgrade/Upgrade guide section HERE (Do not use the Online Downgrade/Upgrade).

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it! I'll give it a try later today (at work ATM.) I'll post results tomorrow if it worked or not.
