Are you sure you can't flash a 1x image and install the latest fix on these boxes ?

As far as I know about these boxes is you can flash blade quad 1x onto it then it's possible. But you also need services.xml for it. Many more knowledgeable will be able to guide you further on here I'm sure.

Oh and google chatterbox.cc and install toolbar then in box fixes you'll find a How to etc.

You shouldn't mixup dbox1 and dbox2. A dbox1 is a complete different beast and the 1 in the name has nothing to do with flash chips.
A sagem dbox2 with 1 flash chip is not a dbox1.

Is it definitely a Dbox1 that you have ?

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

I was just thinking same. Cos its a bit odd to arrive home from Germany with a useless dbox1, Can you describe it Sceiri or post a photo? If it turns out to be a Dbox2, then it can be debugged and up n running handy enough!

Hi all,
yes its definitely a dbox1 it has 3 scart sockets on the back and no socket for a null modem cable.I have a dbox2 myself and it has a different front panel.I heard you can put a software called DVB 2000 onto it to get it going?

A dbox1 is not able to handle N2.
DVB2000 plus a funcard plus a allcam was a possibility in the good old N1 days.
