I have been reading so much I can't remember where I was and what was said. I installed BootMii as described in the SoftMod thread hear skipping the HBC install since I have done that already. First I installed DVDx because I don't know if I will use it but figured now was the best time to install it. I also followed some of the OFFICIAL YAFAZE BOOTMII GUIDE. It created a BootMii folder along side my other folders (Apps,Private,WAD) Should my Wii load BootMii on a power restart or do I need to do something special?

Updates:
I may have found my solution. Could be my SD card I will need to find a different one to try.

Update:
Ok Looks as if the SD media maybe to blame. I was trying to use a 256Mb Kingston SD card with the BootMii file. Copied that to a 1G Kingston Micro in a adapter and that loaded Boot2.

Now How big Does the card need to be for backing up the NAND? I started to use my 256M card but it error (Backup Failed -1) I did notice that the files it did create where similar to the file it took to start BootMii to begin with.

Can I use my 1g card to boot into BootMii and leave it inserted for the NAND backup? As long as 1G is enough.

Update:
I'm answering my own questions so I hope this will help others.

Size of NAND I found here 500m
