I have bricked my Samsung ms28 drive (my computer froze during writing) but lucky I have the orig.bin file. If I cannot unbrick the drive, should I replace it with another Samsung, or some thing else like a BenQ (not Hitachi)?
If you use DosFlash to try and recover it, I believe a Samsung with no firmware, will respond with status 0x70 for 1 or 2 seconds after power on. So you should be able to get it recovered.

I'm trying to unbrick it but I can't seem to get the timing right. Do you happen to know the exact time that I have to send the info using MTKFlash? Or do you know a tutorial I can follow? Thanks.
If you use a bootable USB drive with DosFlash, I believe you type in dosflash.exe, and right when you power on the drive, hit enter. I am not quite for sure when booting with MTKFlash.

No one is for sure on greater chances of being banned. I know a lot of people that have spoofed to BenQs and they haven't had any problems.
I think I have a bricked ms28 Do you think its is unbrickable using dos flash? Is there a tutorial? Its not my xbox and I dont have the ofw but I also dont think its been flashed before. Any help would be great, I was going to order another drive but if I can fix this one that would be great.

You know that buying a new drive without having the original firmware is useless right? No original fimware, no drive key. So with the new drive you'd only have a fancy DVD player.

Yeah, I'm reading that.... How do I unbrick this thing? I'm getting more confused the more I read.
I have Jungle flasher 1.6, Iprep 8.8 and Dos Flash
I have read that you can always unbrick a sammy but haven't real seen a way to do it(that I can understand :-))
