I tried to install a wad file that was supposed to be one additional song for Guitar Hero. The download came with one wad file that was the song, and another that was apparently some kind of title updater. I believe it's intent is to add the name of the song to your Guitar Hero save.
I installed both of the wad files with the wad manager. The song installed fine but I got an error when installing the title wad.
Song was not viewable view Guitar Hero World Tour when loaded up, but I could see it inside the wii menu.
Has anyone had any luck with these type of wad files?
I am about to try and install a different one. I have about 10-12. If one works I will report the results.
I read a brief comment in a post from back in 2008 that mentioned that a particular IOS file available in FW 3.2u is required to use the Guitar Hero add on stuff or to play guitar hero games that have been hacked or altered.
This ring a bell to anyone?? I tried installing two different songs with the same result. The song.wad installs fine but I get errors with the title revision.wad file.
I can uninstall them fine installing them and I can see them on wii system, and i can succesfully move them to SD card also. They just dont load up in World Tour in the downloadable games section. I assume because the title revision file is not installing properly.
Anyone have any ideas? I will keep searching for answers and post back when i have something worth sharing.
