I tried flashing my Xbox360s' DVD drive...when I plugged the SATA cable into the hole on the back of the DVD drive (one one on the right) then I started Iprep which I got from Xbins and i got an error, saying "unable to find any devices"...what should i do?
now there is another plug on the left side on the back of the drive and that one i do not have a cable for...for some reson i bought a opened SATA cable, adapter set...does that one need to have a plug in it too? and btw i am using a SATA to USB cable + adapter. and also when i try to load the firmware, i extracted the new firmware to my desktop in a folder called "new folder" and went back to iprep and clicked the load firmware button and got an error saying "no valid firmware loaded"

what can be done to fix these problems:

1. the errors
2. and the question about the other cable

How are you powering your drive? You either need to power your drive via the xbox 360 or a connectivity kit. Also how did you extract the dvd key when the drive isn't detected?

I don't think TextBook has been updated for the Lite-ON. Try using the Jungle Flasher tutorial.
