Out of curiosity, I've been looking at how to change out the 20GB drive that I got with my 360 to something larger that I can install my games to and have plenty of room to spare.

The process seems easy enough compared to what I went through to mod the firmware, but it doesn't mention anything larger than a 120GB hard drive. Now, when I can get a 320GB WD hard drive for $10 more than the 120GB hard drive that's linked to in the article, I'd like to go for that.
I am just limited to the 120GB hard drive, and for whatever reason can't go bigger than that?

Microsoft only allows 120gb at this time. If you were to use a compatible WD 320gb hard drive, and flash the SS.bin to the drive, only 120GB would be seen by the XBOX 360.

Yeah, right now 120gb is the most you can get out of any size drive.
If you went with the 320gb I think you would be able to upgrade it with a new ss.bin if a larger drive is released in the future. You would have to reflash the hard drive and start over from scratch though.
I'm not possitive though, maybe someone else can shed some light on that theory.
