I have a backup of Kirby's Air Ride. It's PAL, I'm running GC Backup Loader 0.2 which has Kirby's Air Ride as playable. I Have Preloader, Bootmii, and cMIOS rev3 installed and I've got a 3.2u NTSCWii. Any suggestions?
I've tried that. I pressed X to forceNTSC and my TV just goes back to INPUT2. Then I tried holding B and switching to NTSC but I got a horribly screwed up green screen with a mess of multicolored pixels all over the place :(
Damn... The exact same thing happens to me, with the exact same game (Kirby's Air Ride (PAL)), using the Gamecube Backup Loader 0.2. Can someone please tell me how to get it to work? I really want to paly this game since my real copy broke :(
I'm pretty sure it's region compatable, because I can play it. I was just wondering if I can get it to stop being black and white. Jellofist, I heard that if you put in an NTSC backup and run gc backup loader then switch the discs before you select the video mode, it will stop being black and white, but I'm at my cabin right now. Do u have any NTSC backups you can test it with?
Thanks a bunch. I'll rip and burn a NTSC backup when I get home tomorrow to see if it works, and if not, I guess I'll have to settle with B&W or *gulp* buy another one.
I found out how to fix the color thing. Since im assuming your using NeoGamma Backup Launcher, first thing you do is boot it up. The next step is to go to rebooter (or reboot i forget) options and forceNTSC... work for me :) Now im playing PALMario KartWii and PAL Kirby's Air Ride in full color on 60hz :)
