You won't be able to pickup the stream on your bog standard UPC/NTL box, but the streaming data (where I found the HD streams) is as follows:

TR ID: 000f, ID: a701, Freq: 452000000, Symbol Rate: 6887000, FEC: 9/5

Channel ID: 05dd -> National Geographic HD
Channel ID: 05de -> Eurosport HD
Channel ID: 05df -> Discovery HD

I was picking up 4, there is a rte one also, will have a look later, but as I dont use the TV without a box will rescan later to see, but its a pain the backside as I have all the wires hiden behind the TV and its on a wall etc, but they are test chans alright with nothing on them, I have a LG 6 series with built in tuner and the chans are or were in the HD list of chans option on the TV, someone mentioned before they are mpeg4 chans (freeview), but coming up as HD or listed as HD by the TV software, but are not really HD so to speak

Lads you will not be able to view these channels as they are only on the 1802 stream and also you will need a high def box

Lenny is using a HD box but it is not N2 fixed yet. You can still see the stream info using a DVB C pc card and a plug in.

Yeah, I mentioned it weeks ago too. I got them in a scan on 23 June

BBC HD
Channel 4 HD
Discovery HD
Eurosport HD
History HD
National Geographic HD

freq 451 and 443

There is possibly others too.

I DO have a HD box, the abcom 900HD, and it is nagra 2 fixed, I get EPG info but no picture. I have not spent a lot of time messing with it though to try and get it to work. Any tips would be appreciated.

I dont have an Abcom is it with the cable tuner or sat or both? I dont even know the exact specs for it so wouldnt be able to advise on what you could do with it.

I did hear that they were testing in some areas, although I heard that for years. But with that I also heard they may have a new HD box on test. I cannot verify this an as such its just hearsay for the moment.

Either way Sly wont hand over HD content too quickly :(

You wont be able to view these channels as they are on the 1802 stream (N3) and the fix on your box is only for the 1801 stream (N2) ,pity would like to see how these channels fair out picture wise.

No worries mate! Did a scan last week and picked up about 6 or 7 HD channels but they are all only on the 1802 stream. This is the reason people are picking them up on a scan but can only view the EPG screen

U#C are also giving out a nice new thompson media box (looks like a HD box) also with a nice new ROM142 card!!
