ok so i decided not to wait ill my via card come sin the mail n wanted to flash my lite on drive.

i made the use boot up drive and at on epoint it actally shows my drive but after i erase it it doesnt show saying np atapi device present. now i guess u cannot flash a lite on with intels ich 10 sata controller?

it said the drive was erased but when i put star my xbox back up it still works fine. not flashed yet :(

anther question is when i went to dump i could not find my serial number on the drive .where is it?

also the litecfwbin that u make with the iprep program will that work if i just erase the drive n not dump it first?

seen many videos but could get it to see my drive in dos using ich 10 controller

So you did dump your DVDkey before you erased correct?

no i couldnt it wouldnt read the drive i dont even know if its earsed because it still works playing original games. it did make a cfw dir on my usb though. can i dump a lite on key without a probe or connectivity kit?

another dumb question how do i know how many com ports i have on my computer? i have a asus p5q motherboard
