i recently tried playing one of my original xbox games on my 360 which is on the compatibility list and got an error game could not be started and that i should download it again. my hdd is not and offical 120 gb (bought off ebay and did a flash on it). so i want to install the Backwards compatibility and i burnt it to a disc but when inserted it says open tray, could this be due to the security on ixtreme 1.51

thanks for any help.

I don't think that could be an issue with ix1.51. Normally the "Open Tray" error is a laser issue.

You probably didn't burn it right, try updating via live or order the disk from microsoft.

if you got a homemade 120gb hdd (most from china are those) they don't have the 3rd sector where the xbox emulator program is on the hdd. i think theres a way to put it on but it requires you to hook it up to your computer. i'm not sure how to do it. maybe someone else here has before.
